Otti nasce nel 1973 a Firenze, città in cui l’arte si respira a ogni angolo e che fin da subito ne orienta la sensibilità verso la pittura. Durante l’adolescenza vive anche in Calabria, terra d’origine dei suoi genitori: un luogo di contrasti culturali, ritmi lenti, luce intensa, profumi mediterranei e colori marini che ampliano il suo immaginario sensoriale. In quegli anni disegna instancabilmente a matita personaggi dei fumetti, robot e cavalli, influenzato dalla forte ondata degli anime giapponesi arrivata in Italia. Lo stupore del padre di fronte ai suoi disegni rappresenta una spinta fondamentale, diventando il motore che ancora oggi alimenta la sua ricerca artistica.

Rientrato a Firenze, Otti inizia a lavorare su commissione, traendo ispirazione da maestri come Egon Schiele, Pablo Picasso e Salvador Dalí. Parallelamente sviluppa un linguaggio espressivo personale, fondato sull’esplorazione dei confini dell’Io e dei limiti del corpo. Il suo percorso si approfondisce attraverso lo studio della bioenergetica, disciplina psicocorporea che indaga la personalità attraverso i processi energetici. Da questa riflessione nasce l’uso ricorrente del filo spinato nelle sue opere: una metafora visiva dei limiti interiori, delle tensioni emotive e dei condizionamenti che ogni individuo porta con sé.

La formazione di Otti si arricchisce ulteriormente grazie allo studio con i maestri toscani Andrea Mancini e Sergio Nardoni. Nel 2013 porta la propria ricerca nello spazio urbano, realizzando interventi di street art che gli consentono di sperimentare nuove tecniche pittoriche e confrontarsi con altri artisti, assimilando l’essenza e l’immediatezza del linguaggio di strada.

Oggi Otti sviluppa una ricerca che intreccia memoria, identità corporea, introspezione, cultura pop e linguaggi urbani. Le sue opere indagano continuamente i limiti — visibili e invisibili — che definiscono l’essere umano, trasformando l’esperienza personale in una riflessione universale sulla condizione umana.

Otti was born in 1973 in Florence, a city where art permeates every corner and which shaped his passion for painting from an early age. During his adolescence, he also lived in Calabria, the homeland of his parents: a land of cultural contrasts, slow rhythms, intense light, Mediterranean scents, and marine colors that expanded his sensory imagination. During those years, he spent countless hours drawing comic book characters, robots, and horses, inspired by the powerful wave of Japanese anime that had reached Italy. The wonder and amazement in his father's eyes as he observed those drawings became a lasting source of motivation, continuing to fuel Otti’s artistic research to this day.

After returning to Florence, Otti began working on commissioned projects, drawing inspiration from masters such as Egon Schiele, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dalí. At the same time, he developed a personal visual language centered on the exploration of the boundaries of the self and the limits of the body. His artistic journey deepened through the study of bioenergetics, a psychophysical discipline that investigates personality through energetic processes. This approach highlights how emotional and psychological conflicts, when embodied as chronic muscular tensions, can restrict breathing, movement, and everyday behavior. From this awareness emerged the recurring use of barbed wire in his work: a visual metaphor for the internal boundaries and constraints that each individual carries within.

Otti further enriched his artistic education through studies with Tuscan masters Andrea Mancini and Sergio Nardoni. In 2013, he expanded his research into urban spaces, creating street art interventions that allowed him to experiment with new painting techniques and engage with fellow artists, absorbing the essence, immediacy, and expressive power of street language.

Today, Otti’s work brings together memory, corporeal identity, introspection, pop culture, and urban visual languages in a continuous exploration of the visible and invisible limits that define the human condition. Through his practice, personal experience becomes a universal reflection on freedom, constraint, and the complexity of being human.
